Prof. Dr. Claudia Daubenberger

Project Leader in Clinical Immunology

Claudia Daubenberger is Unit Leader for "Clinical Immunology" at the Department of Medical Parasitology and Infection Biology of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. Her main interest is the in-depth analysis of human immune responses in phase I to phase III vaccine trials targeting Plasmodium falciparum malaria in all age groups in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prof. Dr. med. Christiane Pauli-Magnus

Prof. Christiane Pauli-Magnus is a General Internal Medicine Specialist and a Titular Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Basel. She studied medicine in Heidelberg and later in Würzburg in Germany, where she graduated in 1995. After her clinical training, she went to the University of California in San Francisco for postdoctoral studies.

Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Paris

Prof. Daniel Paris is a specialist in general internal medicine and a clinical researcher. He obtained his medical degree in 1996 from the University of Zurich and pursued a career combining internal medicine with infectious and tropical diseases. Prof. Paris spent over 12 years working in clinical research in Southeast Asia for the University of Oxford.

Prof. Dr. med. Manuel Battegay

Prof. Manuel Battegay, MD, is a specialist in general internal medicine and infectiology. He obtained his medical degree in 1985 from the University of Basel and spent part of his medical education at the Maimonides Medical Center in New York, USA. From 1990 to 1994, he dedicated his further training to basic research in the field of viral immunology at the University Hospital Zürich in the group of Prof. Rolf M. Zinkernagel.
