In this study, researchers compared the effects of three types of vaccines: the live-attenuated sCPD9 vaccine, an mRNA vaccine, and a vaccine that uses Adenovirus-Spike vectors. The tests revealed that hamsters given the sCPD9 vaccine showed the quickest and strongest immune responses. When these hamsters were later exposed to the harmful SARS-CoV-2 virus, they were the best at controlling and eliminating the virus.
Additionally, they suffered less damage to their respiratory tissues and organs. In summary, this research highlights the benefits of the sCPD9 live-attenuated vaccine compared to other vaccines that are currently available.
